這是貝多芬去世後，
他們在他的抽屜中找到的一封信，
他將這所有的一切都留給這位屬名"Immortal Beloved"，
至今雖然這個事情還是一個謎，
但是好萊塢有把這個故事拍成一部電影，
這是第三封信的內容，
也是最廣為人知的，

在電影《Sex and the City 慾望城市》之中，
Carrie曾經躺在Mr.Big的懷裡，念了這封信，
最後一段的文字：

「Be calm. Love me. Today. Yesterday. 
What tearful longings for you you. You. My life. 
My all. Farewell. Oh continue to love me, 
never misjudge the most faithful heart of your beloved.

Ever thine.

Ever ours.

Though still in bed, my thoughts go out to you, my Immortal Beloved, 
now and then joyfully, then sadly, waiting to learn whether or not fate will hear us -
 I can live only wholly with you or not at all - 
Yes, I am resolved to wander so long away from you
